Two other pilots are with me, and I&#8217;m tagging along in their car. We have the entire day to kill before check-in, so we decide to head to Fantasy of Flight. Out of the airport, we get a bit distracted, and I happened to mention the seaplane training I&#8217;d done a year before. They have a fantastic restaurant there, so I suggested we head that way.<\/p>\n<p>When we get there &#8211; we ended up spending \u00a0five or six hours at the fishing camp; talking with two former fighter test pilots <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1021\" alt=\"IMG_1680\" src=\"http:\/\/www.airdorrin.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/IMG_1680-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>who were there, and Bryan &#8211; the owner fly the seaplane school I introduced them to. \u00a0 I felt this place was a magical place, but you&#8217;d have to be of a certain mindset of think that. \u00a0The two pilots that were with me certainly did &#8211; so I think I gained a few points.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch was fantastic, and we headed north to the hotel after that. I was in a good place, but so keyed up I didn&#8217;t sleep much that night either.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry Pocket is worth your time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outstanding visit to Cherry Pocket.
