Departing RWY 22, I saw a HERD of deer (about 12) running across the approach end of RWY 4. I also saw flocks of black birds there, and had seen many geese in the past week as well.<\/p>\n<p>Since it was 65 degrees in February (really?), the bugs were also out and all over my windscreen.<\/p>\n<p>Coming back to KGED after an aborted departure, I watched for those deer, and for other critters. Parking at Georgetown Aero, I observed the yellow and white Archer II with a very large dent in its wing. I&#8217;m sure this is the result of a collision with a geese that chuck has told me about over the weekend.
