{"id":232,"date":"2012-03-23T17:14:53","date_gmt":"2012-03-23T22:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airdorrin.com\/?p=232"},"modified":"2012-11-13T09:26:17","modified_gmt":"2012-11-13T14:26:17","slug":"20120323-friday-off-in-the-air","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.airdorrin.com\/?p=232","title":{"rendered":"Friday off in the air"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Took the day off when I saw the weather forecast yesterday. \u00a0Launched out of 33N after the fog cleared and visibility improved, and flew up to Lancaster \u00a0to do some ILS approaches in low visibility. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t get there in time for challenging conditions, but did get a few ILS approaches working with Harrisburg.<\/p>\n<p>Stopped there only for a few minutes, and then picked up my clearance back to 33N. \u00a0From there I worked with Dover to get two ILS approaches to their Runway 01. Lots of traffic and a new controller; I enjoyed the work. \u00a0I ended the flight with a GPS27 to a full stop at 33N.<\/p>\n<p>Airplane needed to be cleaned by this time, but I took the bike home and came back later to get that done. It felt good getting it spotless; including under the wings.
