I’m excited these days about lots of things.<\/p>\n
One – I’ve got a cool wife at home and she gets (tolerates) me.<\/p>\n
Two – I was given the opportunity to present a safety seminar at the electric utility I work with. I complimented one of my collegues on a presentation he did, telling him how much it correlated with my experiences in aviation. One thing led to another, and I volunteered to deliver two presentations in each region related to aviation safety. I got paid to talk about aviation….. \u00a0 I think that one was on my bucket list.<\/span><\/p>\n Three – Mike has access to an SR22 and is taking me aloft now and again to keep my skills sharp. \u00a0Thats cool. The timing is other-worldly. Truly. See number four.<\/p>\n Four – Another good friend asked me if I’d be interested in being an SR22 backup pilot for a private owner. \u00a0Hell yeah! \u00a0I have plenty of vacation and will work at keeping this opportunity alive. \u00a0I’m pleased he considered me, but realistic in my expectations. \u00a0I will prepare none-the-less.<\/p>\n Even if the fourth good thing noted doesn’t work – the dream is still alive.<\/p>\n Five- I was at a wedding recently and caught up with Harold – Manager of a jet center. Harold is hooking me up with an simulator school that uses Red Bird Sims. \u00a0He also gave me an idea to develop a business. \u00a0I’m thinking……. \u00a0More later.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I’m excited these days about lots of things.
