My King Air rating will have to wait. Southwest cancelled my commercial aviation experience tomorrow morning to Indianapolis, so I had to unwind my scheduled training. Darn!!

The snow monster has denied me. I hear Jeff is currently suffering commercial aviation trying to get home, so I will hold my tongue a little regarding my plight. I am not happy, but I’d rather be at home wishing I was going…..

Southwest promised to refund my non-refundable tickets in full.

Trip is reset to early March, when I plan to fly my airplane out there, and avoid the commercial aviation drama altogether. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. The airplane is ready.

Fly Professionally.

Fully retired now, unless something interesting comes along. I’ve enjoyed a lucrative career as an Electrical Engineer, Certified Software Solutions Developer, and Project Manager. An excellent and fun career that I’m very proud of. I began flying commercially in Dash-8 aircraft for Piedmont Airlines, and moved on to instruct in the Gulfstream 280; WestWind; and Astra jet aircraft. I’ve also been blessed with a type rating in the B-25 bomber in a fortunate turn of events. My wife, Beverly, and I currently own and operate a beautifully restored PA30 Twin Comanche, which we use to explore the CONUS.
