Today looks to be another clear day from a glance at the weather this morning.  Out of Watertown, NY in an hour or so, we are bound for Philly. Round trip to BWI and then home to Salisbury.

I have an early out in the morning for another trip, and the need to be up north tonight for a viewing. That means driving up to Wilmington, DE and then back to the beach – fighting beach traffic on a nice weekend really both ways.

The solution – I’ll pull my airplane out and fly above the traffic. Bev is picking me up in at KILG so I can go to the viewing. I’ll fly back down afterward and get to bed early.  Looking forward to all the flying we have today, and to NOT being in beach traffic.

I’ll also do another test of the GoPro if I have the time, as my Twin Comanche training is coming up fast and I want to be ready for that.

Fly Safe!

Fully retired now, unless something interesting comes along. I’ve enjoyed a lucrative career as an Electrical Engineer, Certified Software Solutions Developer, and Project Manager. An excellent and fun career that I’m very proud of. I began flying commercially in Dash-8 aircraft for Piedmont Airlines, and moved on to instruct in the Gulfstream 280; WestWind; and Astra jet aircraft. I’ve also been blessed with a type rating in the B-25 bomber in a fortunate turn of events. My wife, Beverly, and I currently own and operate a beautifully restored PA30 Twin Comanche, which we use to explore the CONUS.
